【摘要】:Thistestmethodforthedeterminationofballburstingstrengthoftextilesisbeingusedbythetextileindustryfortheevaluationofawidevarietyoffabrics.TestresultsobtainedusingtheproceduresinTestMethodD3787havenotbeencorrelatedwithactualperformance.TestMethodD3787isconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsoftextilesfabricsforburstingstrengthsincethemethodhasbeenusedextensivelyinthetradeforacceptancetesting.IncasesofdisagreementarisingfromdifferencesinvaluesreportedbythepurchaserandthesellerwhenusingTestMethodD3787foracceptancetesting,thestatisticalbias,ifany,betweenthelaboratoryofthepurchaserandthelaboratoryofthesellershouldbedeterminedwithcomparisonbasedontestingspecimensrandomlydrawnfromonesampleofmaterialofthetypebeingevaluated.Note28212;Thekindforcetransferandstrengththatoccurwhenknittedgoodsarewornispreventedbyclampingthemasdirectedinthistestmethod.5.2.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwo(ormore)laboratories,comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem.Thetestsamplesusedshouldbe:ashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstothelaboratoriesfortesting.Othermaterialswithestablishedtestvaluesmaybeusedforthispurpose.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddataataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfound,eitherthecausemustbedeterminedandcorrectedorfuturetestresultsmustbeadjustedinconsiderationofknownbias.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthemeasurementforburstingstrengthwithaballburststrengthtesteroftextilesorgarmentsthatexhibitahighdegreeofultimateelongation.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetest,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparenthesis.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmaybeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewithinthespecification.Note1Forthemeasurementofburstingstrengthwithahydraulictestingmachine,refertoTestMethodD3786.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
