【摘要】:1.1*Thisstandardcoversbasicsafetyandessentialperformancerequirementsforfixationdevicesdesignedtobeattachedtothehead,face,ormouthofthepatientandequippedwithameanstosecureandstabilizeatrachealtubeorotherairwaydeviceinitsintendedposition.Deviceswithinthescopeofthisstandardmaybeprovidedwithawidevarietyofpatientattachmentmechanismsandtubelockingmechanisms.1.2*Devicesintendedtosecuretracheostomytubesareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.NOTETheserequirementsareaddressedinISO5366-11and5366-32.1.3*Fixationdevicesintendedtosecuredevicessuchasgastrictubes,feedingtubesandsuctioncathetersareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.1.4Flammabilityoffixationdevices,forexampleifusedinthepresenceofcertainflammableanesthetics,electrosurgicalunits,orlasersisawell-recognizedhazardthatisoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.SeeAnnexFforguidance.
